Our unique VIPCode program provides face to face live online coding classes for kids and teens using video chat and collaborative editing tools with a private instructor, each student meets with their instructor privately or in a small group (up to 4 students).

We offer an advanced coding and computer science program for kids and teens that expand and extend on what is taught in school. Developed by computer scientists, our program develops bright minds ages 8-18 using our unique outcome based curriculum and digital tools. Students leave the program with confidence in pursuing technical topics and knowledge of how to build video games, apps, websites and much more.

Our instructors are selected from top-tier universities and they serve as mentors to their students throughout their computer science education. We match students with instructors based on their previous learning experience, personality fit, interests, and availability.

Each pass is billed on a monthly basis. Passes may be paused or cancelled at any time and we'll be happy to discontinue pass billing with no fees.

If your child is struggling with certain concepts, we will slow down in the curriculum to help your child overcome current coding challenges, and if your child is picking up concepts very quickly, we will speed up in the curriculum and increase project difficulties so that students are able to take a deeper dive into fundamentals they grasp naturally.

WHO ARE OUR INSTRUCTORS?

Our instructors are hand-selected graduate and undergraduate computer science students, chosen for their technical aptitude and experience working with students. Currently our acceptance rate for our instructor program is less than 10 percent. All instructors pass a rigorous interview, background check, and multi-stage vetting process. They serve as not only skilled instructors, but also as mentors and role models for their students. Instructors are re-evaluated regularly during their teaching tenure. HOW LONG SHOULD MY CHILD SPEND ON THE PROGRAM?

We offer a full computer science curriculum for students ages 8-18. Each course typically takes 3-12 months to complete. This depends on the student's dedication to homework, their previous experience, and the difficulty of course material. Students may spend years, progressing through our courses to Olympiad-level competition.

WHAT CAN MY CHILD DO WHEN THEY COMPLETE THE VIPCODE PROGRAM?

Build a robust technical foundation for everyday life: Learning to code equips students with invaluable skills - such as complex problem-solving, logical reasoning, and algorithmic thinking. They learn how to break down problems, test their answers, and build grit and resilience by testing and trying again.
