Because instructors get to know their students’ weaknesses and strengths, our instructors are able to hone in on how a student is performing. If your child is struggling with certain concepts, we will slow down in the curriculum to help your child overcome current coding challenges, and if your child is picking up concepts very quickly, we will speed up in the curriculum and increase project difficulties so that students are able to take a deeper dive into fundamentals they grasp naturally.

No matter your child’s starting point, whether your child is ready to start in our block-based programming courses or ready to jump into our advanced courses, we customize every student’s experience. Students are matched with instructors hand-selected for them and placed in courses based on their own aptitude, experience, and overall goals. With personalized attention and project-based learning, students learn at their own pace with customizable projects in a structured learning environment.

Our instructors are hand-selected graduate and undergraduate computer science students, chosen for their technical aptitude and experience working with students. Currently our acceptance rate for our instructor program is less than 10 percent. All instructors pass a rigorous interview, background check, and multi-stage vetting process. They serve as not only skilled instructors, but also as mentors and role models for their students. Instructors are re-evaluated regularly during their teaching tenure. We offer a full computer science curriculum for students ages 7-18. Each course typically takes 2 - 12 months to complete. This depends on the student's dedication to homework, their previous experience, and the difficulty of course material. Students may spend years, progressing through our courses to Olympiad-level competition.
